The 10k Summer Run is LCD’s biggest running event of the year and follows a breathtaking route right through the heart of historic London, with competitors starting from Piccadilly and winding their way past landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye before finishing at Whitehall!
This year's 10k Summer Run is on Sunday 11th July and is the event's 10 year anniversary and is set to be the biggest one yet!
Last year's race took place on Sunday 12th July 2009, with 42 runners taking to the sunny streets of London in support of LCD. We raised over £5,500!
Congratulations to Anthony Turi, who raised £660 and is our top fundraiser! And a big well done to Louisa Scrase, who was our fastest runner with a finishing time of 47 minutes!
There's still time to send in your sponsorship money - send any cheques you receive to Link Community Development, Unit 39 Kings Exchange Business Village, Tileyard Road, London N7 9AH. And don't forget to advertise the link to your Justgiving page everywhere you can - once you let people know your fantastic finishing time they will surely be keen to make a last-minute donation!

A well deserved picnic is provided in St James' Park after the run.
