Can I speak with someone who has been a Global

Certainly, we would encourage all potential applicants to speak with a current or former Irish Global Teacher, who would be delighted to explain the programme to you and answer any questions you might have. Please let us know if you would like to speak to former Irish Global Teachers and we will pass on their details.

How much does it cost to take part in the Global Teachers Programme?
The fee for the Global Teachers Programme is €2,000, which includes two pre-departure residential training weekends in Ireland; international travel; food and accommodation on your placement; support while on placement; and ongoing support on return to Ireland, including two follow-up training weekends.

Global Teachers may want to undertake additional fundraising activities which will help us support the Link Community Development project in the district where your placement school is located.
