Flora Women’s Mini Marathon
The Flora Women's Mini Marathon, on the June Bank Holiday Monday of every year, is a great day out.
The route covers a nicely flat 10km through Dublin city centre with bands and water stations dotted all along the way. This is a race suited to everyone, from first time walkers to experienced athletes.
To top it all off, Link Ireland puts on a great picnic in St. Stephen's Green afterwards for runners and their friends!

Cairo to Cape Town Challenge!
The Cairo to Cape Town Challenge 2010 was launched in Rathdown Secondary School, County Dublin.
Primary and secondary schools organised fundraising events of their choice, with the common goal of raising money for the school improvement programmes supported by Link Community Development in Africa.
For every €10 they raised, schools moved 10km along the route from Cairo to Cape Town, attempting to cross the entire continent of Africa!
Find out more about the Cairo to Cape Town Challenge! If you would like to donate online, you can do so on our 'Cairo to Cape Town Challenge' mycharity page.
Tá na hábhar teagaisc don Dúshlán Cairo go Cape Town le fáil as Gaeilge chomh maith.
