20 years experience of school improvement in sub-Saharan Africa.
Working at all levels of the education system, Link’s approach places us at the cutting edge of educational development thinking and implementation. We are committed to sharing best practice and innovation within our group, and with our partners both nationally and internationally. Our key areas of work are:
School Performance Review: This cycle of school monitoring and planning underpins all our work. It supports district departments of education to gather accurate information about each school’s performance and enables everyone involved in the school to make plans and take action to improve its performance.

District Capacity Building: Supporting district departments of education to improve supervision and cooperation with schools to achieve better school performance using the available resources.
School Capacity Building: Training for teachers and headteachers on school leadership, financial management, teaching literacy, and many other topics to make schools more effective. Further support for needs identified by schools – from building latrines to mentoring groups - is provided through our School Development Projects. Community Participation: A school is an important part of any community. Link Community Development helps parents and local people get involved in reviewing school performance and planning improvements, managing School Development Projects and supporting our HIV/AIDS work.
HIV/AIDS: We help communities, schools and district departments of education to plan for and manage the impact of HIV/AIDS.
