We are working hard to raise funds to support Link Community Development’s school improvement projects in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda. In particular LCD''s work in partnership with districts and schools to create achievable school improvement plans with the support of school communities and district education staff. The outcome of this support is higher pupil attainment at school – giving children a chance to break the cycle of poverty.

LCD Fundraising event at the Stand Comedy Club, Edinburgh, 13th April 2010

LCD is hosting a benefit night at the Stand Comedy Club, Edinburgh to support Link Community Development. Join us on the 13th April 2010 from 7.30pm to enjoy 4 special comedians.

Malawi Bike Ride July 2011

The Malawi Bike Ride offers LCD supporters the opportunity to support our work to improve the quality of education in our programme countries, and to explore the beautiful country of Malawi, often called the ‘warm heart of Africa’.

The journey will take you through the stunning mountains and forests of Malawi and will include the opportunity to visits schools and communities who are part of LCD Malawi’s school improvement projects in Dedza and Mulanje.
