2. Agree with your school staff, parents and pupils if you want to link with a school in Malawi, South
Africa, Ghana, Uganda or Ethiopia.
3. Meet with all staff and explain the process and fee invovled and agree that all are happy to take the
link forward.
4. Fill in the application form giving as many details as possible about your motivations for linking.
5. Send in the £50 registration fee together with the application form to Link Schools Programme, LCD,
Thorn House, 5 Rose Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2PR.
6. Based on the information you have provided us with in your application, we will find you
a partner school and help you to set up a link and make a success of your school partnership.

Read our case study about the activities which pupils at Longniddry Primary School in East Lothian have developed with their Link School, Oranje-Diamant Primary School in the Northern Cape of South Africa. ‘It is really about enterprise teaching as pupils are involved in making videos, art projects, and recycled art work which is all cross curricular work.
