Nkosana Kubeka – Acting Programme Director
Nkosana has over 17 years' experience in educational development, school-based management and leadership, project and program planning and M&E. His working experience range from being a Teacher, Head Teacher, Negotiator, Deputy Director and Acting Director in Gauteng Department of Education, Program Manager for RTI and LCD.
Anita Govan –Project Manager
Anita has 18 years of experience in education and she has served in various positions both in the public education sector and the NGO world. She has served the last 5 years at LCD as an Acting Program Director for LCD Malawi and a Unit Head for LCD’s HIV and AIDS programs.
Jonathan Kekana – Project Officer
Jonathan is a project officer responsible for coordination and management of MGSLG activities. He has vast educational experience working as a teacher, lecturer and district curriculum facilitator.
Sindi Ngongoma – School Development Officer
Sindi has been with LCD for more than 10 years and has experience of training Districts and school level staff (SMT’s & SGBs) and training of Health Advisory Committees. She has been part of the training team that delivered on a number of HIV and AIDS projects.
Tanasha Moonsamy – Project officer
Tanasha is the LSP Project Officer who has been involved in education for the past 7 years in government and private sector.
Josephine Motale – Senior Finance Officer
Josephine has extensive financial experience and she is responsible for maintaining all LCD SA financial accounting records, including managing and updating SAGE. She is also responsible for maintenance of staff personal files, prepare payroll and maintain salary records, submission of PAYE & UIF returns monthly, prepare audits and office administration.
Lindi Mokaa – Finance and Admin Officer
Lindi assist the finance team on the capturing of invoices and payment capturing to SAGE and help with general administration as well.
Thembi Nkosi – Project Assistant
Thembi started working for LCD over a year ago as an Intern responsible for office administration and has just been promoted as LSP Project Assistant focusing of the technical aspects of LSP.
Mantombi Hlatshwayo – Office Administrator
Mantombi has been recently appointed as an Intern responsible for office administration to ensure smooth running of the office, filling, faxing and coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Eastern Cape LCD Team
Helen Maqubela- OVC Project Manager
Helen is responsible for the smooth implementation of the OVC project. Central to her duties is the management of 23 OVC Contract Trainer Facilitators and 4 Senior Trainer Facilitators. She has managed and co-managed several other LCD businesses in the Eastern Cape Office.
Siphiwo Thibane- LSP Project Manager
Siphiwo is responsible for logistics and facilitates training of stakeholders, liaises with schools pertaining reciprocal visits, themes of correspondence between the schools in the UK and South Africa. He frequently corresponds with the UK-LCD office pertaining to Special Projects. He presently focuses on Simanyene Project which aims at tapping to solar energy to enhance the schools Information Technology.
Nomakhwezi Ludidi- Office Administrator
Nomakhwezi is responsible for maintaining the project databases, ensure smooth running of the office, filling, faxing, dealing with the claim forms, coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence.
KwaZulu Natal LCD Team
Nqobile Tekana – School Development Officer
Nqobile is the Project Officer responsible for delivery of the project. She is responsible for logistics and facilitates training of stakeholders, liaises with schools, provides school support, monitors and evaluates project implementation and assists with data analysis and reporting.
Erick Radebe – Project Administrator
Erick is the Project Administrator. He is responsible for maintaining the project database for 52 schools. He also provides school support, liaises with schools. As a member of the field team monitoring schools, he collects, analyses, records and reports project data.
Limpopo LCD Team
Guy Bostock – Provincial Coordinator
Guy has worked for LCD on projects in Limpopo, the Free State and Northern Cape Provinces, and previously worked as an NGO worker in Kwazulu-Natal, at a college of education in Limpopo and as a school teacher in Limpopo and Gauteng. He is currently the Limpopo Provincial Coordinator.
Elias Toka – Project Officer
Elias has vast educational experience in educational arena from being a circuit manager, project manager for MSTP and LCD. He is currently working on a number of projects for LCD in Limpopo and Gauteng province. He will assume a role of project officer for one circuit in Limpopo DfID project.
Mmaphuti Molaudi – Project Administrator
Mmaphuti has previously worked for an NGO in Limpopo as an Educator, Educator trainer and had also worked on HIV and Aids Projects. She is currently at LCD Limpopo office dealing with projects and projects logistics and also ensures smooth running of the office.
Refiloe Chuene – Office Administrator
Refiloe has worked for NGO:JET education services as Office Admin and also has worked as a trainer(training the educators with computers). She has currently joined the LCD: Limpopo team and she is responsible for logistics and correspondence in the office.
