Where We Work

LCD has 7 offices in South Africa. The head office is in Centurion, Gauteng and there are provincial offices in Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West Province. All of the offices are staffed by full-time teams directly involved in education delivery ranging from facilitation, project management and product development to strategic planning at various levels of the system in the respective projects.

In Gauteng, LCD works in partnership with Mathew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance in all 15 Education Districts for the capacity of district officials. We also have Links Schools Project (LSP) in 2 districts.

LCD in the Eastern Cape Province is based in Mthatha. LCD is the implementing agent for the Orphans and Vulnerable Children Project in 300 schools spread across 13 Department of Education Districts (Bizana, Cofimvaba, Dutywa, East London, King Williams Town, Lady Frere, Libode, Lusikisiki, Maluti, Mt Fletcher, Mthatha, Sterkspruit and Port Elizabeth) in partnership with the Eastern Cape Department of Education. Moreover LCD is implementing the Link Schools Project (LSP) LCD-EC is at present working in 94 LSP schools located in (Qumbu, Libode and Mt. Fletcher districts).

LCD works in all 5 Districts and 50 circuits in Limpopo supporting the Education Department with SMSF, Child Friendly Schools, Zenex, Parent Participation Project and LSP.

LCD is implementing the Peer Education Programme funded by USAID in four provinces: Free State - Fezile Dabi District; Mpumalanga – Enkangala District; North West – Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District and KwaZulu Natal- Sisonke District.  We also support the implementation of Child Friendly School UNICEF funded initiative in Mafukuzela-Ghandi Circuit in Pine Town District.
