Welcome to Link Community Development USA. Our mission is to improve access to quality education for children in Sub-Saharan Africa.  We believe that every child in Africa should have access to quality education. 

We are members of the LCD International family, a group of nine country organizations working in partnership.  Our aims are to raise funds to support our programs in Africa, assist with program design and evaluation, and increase awareness on African poverty issues in the U.S. through public events and the Link Schools Program.  Read more

1st Annual Benefit a Great Success
Our 1st Annual Benefit on April 24th was a great success.  Over 180 people attended the event at Gruen Gallleries in Chicago's River North Art District. The event featured a special exhibit of Gruen's African art collection, live music, hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails.  The event raised funds to support our efforts to improve education for children in Ghana.  Special thanks to Paul Carman and Irene Pritzker for serving as Honorary Benefit Chairs.
